Some tips to prevent sleep disorders

Are you not able to sleep well? Well, then let me help you with some tips that would make you sleep better.

  • Fix a time for sleeping and getting up
  • Use your bed only for sleeping
  • Get into the bed only when you are sleepy
  • Try to avoid bright lights just before sleeping. Set your switches to dim lights
  • Do not fret over not being able to sleep. It will make matters worse
  • Avoid exercise near bed time because exercise energizes the body
  • Avoid a heavy meal before bed. But, do not even go hungry to bed
  • Maintain a comfortable temperature in your bedroom
  • Stay away from stimulants like coffee, tea, caffeinated beverages, etc.
  • Follow a bedtime routine. For eg: have a cup of herbal tea one hour before going to bed
