An alarm for sleep disorder
If you are a parent of a child suffering from sleepwalking then here is some real good news for you.
Three seventh grade and one eighth grade girl of Stoughton Middle School have invented a Sleepwalking Alarm Detection Unit. This unit raises an alarm when a sleeping child strays at night.
The alarm is made of a small motion sensor. This sensor can be mounted on the door frame of the child's bedroom. It also has a swivel feature which allows the parents to point the detector directly towards the doorway. When the sensor would sense the child in the doorway, it will raise an alarm connected to the parents' room. The parents can then, direct the child back to his room.
Isn't it a little wonder? Three cheers for the girls! Hip hip hurray..!
